Lodge is located on Leech Lake's sandy south shore &
nestled amongst the many lakes of the Chippewa
National Forest. Leech Lake is one of Minnesota's
premier sport fishing lakes with huge Muskie, lots
of Walleye, lunker Northern pike, Bass, Crappie,
Perch, Panfish &our ever famous Eelpout!

Lodge is a kid-friendly resort! Our groomed sandy
swimming beach with crystal clear water offers the
perfect day in the sun. Enjoy our free paddle boats,
kayaks, water bikes, fun bugs & canoes. Sand volleyball &
a full children's jungle gym near the beach offer fun
for all ages. After a day of leisure activity sit on the
beach, roast marshmallows & tell stories by the warm
bonfire while the stars float overhead & and soft
moonlight reflects off the water.

Hess of Monticello was helped by his
Dad (Jim) releasing another walleye he
caughtwhile
fishing with his Grandpa Bill. During the
weekend visit to Grandma & Pa. they caught &
released 8 walleyes over 22" on Leech Lake.
